Christadelphian Aged Care is a not for profit organisation that provides the care needs for over 650 elderly residents within six sites across the greater Sydney area, employing some 700 staff. Mid 2007 we embarked on a telephony consolidation project having had sites managed by different carriers and brokers. Following some extensive reviews we accepted the proposal for landline & mobile services which had been orchestrated by Luke Mansfield and his team. One vendor proposed an “all singing all dancing” solution that was way over our requirement. Luke’s proposal considered our need at the time, to reduce the number of players managing our telephony, provide a single point of responsibility and all at a good price point, as well as the fact that we were expanding in number, both from a mobile handset perspective and also a physical site perspective, so hence not being locked in to inflexible contracts.

This was no mean feat considering some of our locations and where standard provisioning might have solved halve of our communication issues, his understanding of industry ensured we could solve the remaining problems with a new piece of technology. For example poor GSM coverage for management staff at a couple of locations was remedied using femtocell technology, even at one of our manager’s homes!

To this end, CAC (both from a financial & technological perspective) would recommend the services of Luke Mansfield in providing a telephony solution for any organisation, big or small!

We ended up with a combination of Telstra and Optus mobiles and a dedicated VOIP ADSL line for our office calls for no extra. I met Luke in 2010 when we were considering our telephone and data needs for our growing company. I have maintained a professional relationship with Luke since that time and always turn to him for any of our Telco requirements in the first instance. Luke helped us to design and implement a data network for our 30 different retails stores and head office.
